Summary:
The ideal candidate?s responsibilities include the coordinating and assigning work across several production areas, the ability to motivate a team, help where needed, and on the job training and assessment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Objectives/KPI?s are met with a high level of competency
- Ensuring team operates efficiently
- Delegation of work tasks to staff under their control
- Ensures all staff under their control operate in an efficient and safe manner
- Reports on Daily Production figures
- Administers performance reviews for per team/department on an individual level.
- Enforces all safety rules including always wearing the proper PPE
- Provides a work environment which aids operators in always performing tasks efficiently
- Sound knowledge and experience on work practices and procedures to assist operators when needed
- Communicates with the team, information, problems, or queries to management
- Ensures housecleaning of all work areas is undertaken throughout the day and at end of shift before next shift commences
- Attendance, needs to be always present with the considerations of illness or organized leave
- Responsible for giving management reasons for downtime daily.
- Problem solving, able to assist in continual improvement per department on an ongoing basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Graduate
- Extensive knowledge of line
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Computer Basics
- Energetic
- Great attitude and Attendance
- Must work well in a Team Atmosphere
- Good Eye/Hand Coordination
- Consistency
- Good standing as a CtL employee for 1 year.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 10 lbs. daily
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Must be able to wear ear plugs, safety glasses and steel toe shoes (All lines)
