```Duties:```
- Provide direct care and support to residents with developmental disabilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and prevent challenging behaviors
- Support residents in participating in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed
```Requirements:```
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for residents' needs
- Experience in home care or similar setting preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds and abilities
