We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong desire to help customers find the products they need. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience and driving sales in our retail environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos and presentations to enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and promotions effectively.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Strong understanding of retail math principles to support sales activities.
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers of all backgrounds.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
