What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Supervisor - STL position at Closed Loop Recycling, LLC?
Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated shift supervisor to join our production team! We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. The role that takes place in our plant is a hands-on labor-intensive job where you will learn how to operate multiple machines, move heavy collection drums, and work on your feet. You’ll be working with a small team but have room for advancement in your career here. This is a dirty job (dealing with oil), so be prepared. Your role will consist of the following responsibilities:
Shift Lead Responsibilities
Ability to learn and train every station in the laundering process
Conduct inventory and perform daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance on machines
Run daily huddles and station assignments
Complete and run production tracking reports
Learn and train COG reports
Mechanic/carpentry
Skills and Preferred Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Production/Warehouse experience
Ability to use a pallet jack
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 150 lbs when driving and loading/unloading drums)
Welding a plus
Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment
