We are a small business start-up and we are in need of a part-time position (20 hrs approx per week) with a flexible schedule. We are both a restaurant and a sport facility. This is not your run of the mill operation where we do the bare minimum to get the job done. We define our success with how many people come back to our site because they were treated so good and just want more. We hold our customers hands and are always proactively on the lookout for how we can better serve them. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable to include creation of electronic records, purchase controls and vendor relations
- Take 100% responsibility for the completion of all projects assigned to you and your team
- Familiarity with Sage (Peachtree) software is a plus
- Prepare daily cash receipts reconciliations and monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare a bi-weekly payroll with an outside service provider
- Maintain General Ledger and work closely with the CFO
- Respond to all emails and messages
- Support Manger with complex clean-up projects
Experience and Expectations
- Proven knowledge of accounts payable and bill paying process
- Must be proficient with Excel and Word
- Vendor relations experience
- A heart of service. Always wanting to provide customers with the best experience possible.
- Courage and grace to be able to tell colleagues and customers what they don't want to hear in the kindest way possible. Never talking down.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to observe and understand business processes, ensuring complete and accurate documentation
- A desire to learn new skills and always keep growing
