Position Summary:

Responsible for reviewing and managing all funded loan files. Verifies fees, closing conditions, accuracy of calculations, checks for taxes due, payables, balances files, and coordinates final disbursement of funds in the form of checks and/or wires. Confirm wire instructions are correct and checks are remitted according to file specific instructions while maintaining compliance with the lenders instructions. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Manage a portfolio of funded loans daily.
  • Updates lien payoffs and taxes as needed.
  • Will be a Licensed Escrow Officer for signing of checks and preparing packaging.
  • Reviews title commitments, lien payoffs, taxes, file notes, lenders closing instructions.
  • Coordinates final disbursement of funds in compliance with escrow and lenders’ instructions.
  • Calculate pay offs, inputting wires and completing closing disclosures to make the ALTA
  • Prepares and distributes final ALTA Settlement Statement to all applicable parties.
  • Corresponding with lender(s), borrowers, and insurance agents.
  • Asked to assist with additional responsibilities, site specific to corporate offices.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of Mortgage Funding/Closing experience.
  • Knowledge of calculating pay offs, inputting wires and completing closing disclosures to make the ALTA.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task with minimal supervision. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is $19.23 - 29.81/hr and will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
