Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for asphalt and concrete paving equipment, as well as compaction and various small engine machines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and hydraulic systems diagnosis with the ability to read schematics and posesses the tooling necesarry to perform repairs.
Duties
- Analyze schematics to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
- Diagnose and repair equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain detailed records of service performed and parts used during each visit.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an equipment technician, with a focus on electrical and hydraulic troublshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.
- Ability to weld is a plus but not required
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
