Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts safely and effectively.
- Load and unload packages from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage stock levels to ensure availability of products.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, including reach trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent physical stamina; ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
