DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Facility Maintenance Manager and in accordance with CSI’s general policies, this position is accountable for : Maintaining facilities blanket purchase orders. Coordinating facilities repair, construction, and demolition work Training, auditing, and supervising contractors. SPA for SWPP program : Including Quarterly Storm Water Audits Negotiating quotes with suppliers and contractors to select most economical materials and methods to meet CSI requirements Maintain quality of repairs and facility tasks. Maintain appropriate records and reports of work to assure compliance with CSI standards. Perform maintenance routines on all buildings, grounds, and facility equipment which the incumbent is qualified and authorized to maintain. Applying and upholding strict adherence to timelines, safe work practices, and CSI standards. Process, perform, and document facility work requests made by customers. Customers include (but are not limited to) : CSI personnel and contract employees at the North Facility and Glenn St. Warehouse locations. Facility / Facilities refers to all buildings and grounds of Crawfordsville CSI North Manufacturing facility and the Glenn St. Warehouse.
Duties range from routine to fairly complex and involve individual planning and reasonable decision making in the performance of these tasks.
The incumbent plays a key leadership role in promoting safety in the work place and assists in the developing, promoting, and following safe work practices and assuring contractor and supplier compliance with all CSI safety standards.
