We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to oversee our retail store operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and implementing store’s procedures comprehensively, including:
- Meeting specific scheduling needs.
- Maintaining merchandise and visual presentation standards.
- Focusing on meeting financial goals while managing expenses.
- Executing inventory management systems and pricing strategies effectively.
- Emphasizing customer service excellence.
- Serve as a team player who communicates effectively and motivates staff through coaching and role modeling.
- Resolve conflicts, drive sales through staff development, and establish performance standards to ensure optimal team performance.
- Manage staff training and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment.
- Work alongside store Owners/Managers to manage projects that optimize store process performance and profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Buying Team to ensure Needs Based Buying processes are implemented.
- Implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
- Adapt to market trends and identify business expansion opportunities.
- Encourage innovation among the team and adjust strategies to meet customer preferences.
- Drive business growth in alignment with company goals.
Skills
- Proven experience in fashion retail store management or a similar retail environment.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Demonstrated sales management experience with a focus on achieving targets.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs.
Qualifications
- 4 year degree in business preferred. 3 years prior management and supervisory experience and 5 years retail sales experience, preferably in similar merchandise lines.
- Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills are crucial.
- Proven customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Sales and goal-oriented mindset, along with proficiency in computer literacy, are essential.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.
- Lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
- Bending, rotating, and reaching conducive to a retail environment and to receiving, pricing and stocking
