We are a locally-owned independent toy store in Fort Collins, CO, dedicated to providing a fun, educational, and community-driven shopping experience for children and families. We're looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Social Media Marketing Coordinator. This position will help promote our store's unique culture and share our story with the community through various marketing channels.
Position Overview
The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing and growing our store's online presence and in store sales through daily social media posts, email marketing, and other marketing initiatives. This role requires someone who is passionate about engaging with our customers, takes great photos, and is eager to help promote our fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Create and post daily content on various social media platforms to promote our products and promote our store.
- Capture and edit high-quality photos that showcase our products, store atmosphere, and events.
Email Marketing:
- Design and send regular email newsletters to our customer list, highlighting new products, sales, and special events.
Marketing Support:
- Assist with other marketing duties, including promotions, flyers, and event coordination.
- Collaborate with the store team to understand and convey our store's unique culture and values.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management, photography, and content creation (experience with Facebook and Instagram required).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to learn and embrace the unique culture of our store and translate it into engaging content.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be located in or near Fort Collins, CO.
Compensation:
- $25 per hour
- Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
