Essential Functions:
- Leadership Guru: Drive exceptional performance by leading and empowering your team to reach their full potential. Ensure smooth operation of all store facets, including cash management, inventory (receiving, auditing, control), marketing, and financial budgeting, prioritizing cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Data Detective: Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reviews alongside inventory and employee metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Craft actionable recommendations and present them to the Director of Purchasing with a keen eye for growth and optimization.
- SOP Savant: Keep the wheels of operation turning by maintaining and updating all retail SOPs across locations, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Masterfully oversee and enforce cash management procedures, including transactions, opening/closing, deposits, reporting, recordkeeping, and reconciliation.
- Change Champion: Navigate the ever-evolving landscape with agility and resourcefulness. Successfully implement change management initiatives across multiple locations, adapting to new regulations, policies, and technologies with a proactive approach.
- Customer Champion: Craft a welcoming and informative atmosphere where every patron feels valued and their needs are expertly addressed. Prioritize a positive customer experience by offering your expertise and professionalism.
- Remote Rockstar: Master the art of remote management via teleconference and surveillance tools. Effectively guide employees, resolve issues, and ensure optimal productivity, even from a distance.
- Team Culture Catalyst: Foster a fun, safe, and secure work environment for all Cloud 9 retail employees. Uphold company policies and procedures, and cultivate a strong team spirit built on collaboration and mutual respect.
- Implementation Architect: Oversee the implementation of change management initiatives with clarity and efficiency. Set clear goals, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure smooth transitions to new processes.
- Metrics Master: Hold team members accountable to established store metrics. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to elevate individual and team performance, driving overall success.
- Sales Strategist: Analyze store-specific data to uncover opportunities for boosting sales and operational efficiencies. Implement data-driven strategies to fuel growth and profitability, keeping your finger on the pulse of the market.
- Safety & Security Guardian: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security within the store. Comply with all relevant regulations while maintaining a comfortable and professional atmosphere.
- Policy Enforcer: Hold team members accountable to company standards and policies, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and legal requirements. Foster a culture of integrity and compliance across all operations.
- Talent Developer: Train and develop shift leads and budtenders through comprehensive training programs, coaching, and mentorship. Build a strong and engaged team equipped to excel in the dynamic world of cannabis retail.
- Performance Coach: Conduct regular employee evaluations, documenting feedback and identifying areas for training and development. Equip your team with the tools and knowledge they need to continuously improve and flourish.
- Inventory Jedi: Champion inventory accuracy and compliance with law enforcement standards. Implement effective control procedures and maintain secure recordkeeping, ensuring smooth operation and regulatory adherence.
- Communication Catalyst: Bridge the gap between corporate and retail, fostering open communication and collaboration. Act as a clear and accessible point of contact, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment in goals and strategies.

Weekly Day Range: Monday-Sunday
Shift: Varies (Day, Evening, Weekend)

Qualifications:
- Leadership Prowess: Proven experience and passion for leading and motivating teams in a retail or hospitality environment.
- Management Guru: A Bachelor's Degree in business, management, or a related field, coupled with 3-5 years of retail management experience.
- Inventory Jedi: Extensive experience in inventory control and management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in working with technology, including scheduling, payroll, and POS systems, and willingness to embrace new tools.
- Communication Rockstar: Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to engage various audiences effectively.
- Problem-Solver Extraordinaire: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and find creative solutions.
- Open Availability: Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in-store, including flexible shifts and store openings and closings.
- Previous cannabis industry experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting up to 8 hours a day.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to ascend/descend a ladder to service displays, products, or service ceiling lights.
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
