Our mission is to provide a unique and enjoyable experience for our customers, both in-store and online. We’re looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Manager to join our team and help bring our brand to life in the digital world.
Role Overview:
As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across all our social media platforms. While this role is open to entry-level candidates, some prior experience in social media management or content creation is preferred but not required. Most content creation will take place on-site at our Kansas City locations, so proximity to the store is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and creative content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and more. This includes photos, videos, reels, and live streams shot on-site at our Kansas City locations.
- Social Media Management: Schedule, post, and monitor social media content to ensure consistency with our brand voice and strategy.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and reviews promptly to foster positive customer relationships.
- Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, industry updates, and competitor activities to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Brand Storytelling: Develop and share the story behind Cloud 9 Liquor, showcasing our products, in-store events, and customer experiences across all five Kansas City locations
Qualifications:
- Strong creativity and passion for storytelling through visual and written content.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their tools.
- Basic photography and videography skills (smartphone content creation is fine).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the role.
Preferred Skills (but not required):
- Experience with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
- Interest in beverages, wines, or spirits is a plus.
