Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and ensuring that all outdoor spaces are well-kept and functional. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, including the use of various tools and techniques to enhance the appearance and health of our gardens and lawns.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular landscape maintenance to ensure the aesthetic appeal of outdoor areas.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Operate lawn equipment safely such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.
• Conduct groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging as necessary.
• Maintain campgrounds and compounds by weeding, mulching, and planting as required.
• Monitor the grounds, addressing any issues promptly.
• Assist with seasonal preparations such as snow removal or leaf collection when needed.
• Maintain equipment used for landscaping and groundskeeping to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

• Experience with power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Familiarity with hand tools.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with lawn care and groundskeeping.
• Attention to detail in maintaining clean and organized workspaces.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
