Job Description
SUMMARY : Responsible for software packaging in a managed environment using Flexera InstallShield. Candidate must have good working knowledge of InstallShield, Wise Script Editor, VB scripting, and Microsoft Windows installer technology. The candidate must be detail-oriented and willing to work as a valued member of a fast-paced and highly productive packaging team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform full life cycle of software packaging including definition, requirement gathering, analysis, packaging, customizations, and troubleshooting.
- Develop, package, and support applications to update systems to the latest build.
- Create Windows installer packages using InstallShield and Admin Studio.
- Provide packaging solutions using scripting, silent installs, and conflict resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have working knowledge of GPOs, Active Directory, SCCM.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. 5 to 7 years of experience in the field as a Software Packaging Engineer.
