Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Governance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of industry standards, and the ability to provide strategic solutions to complex problems. The SME will collaborate with cross-functional teams, offering specialized knowledge to support project execution and ensure that organizational objectives are met.

Duties

• Act as the primary point of contact and authority in the subject matter area, providing expert-level advice, knowledge, and solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams to define requirements, scope, and deliverables aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Analyze complex business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies for optimization.
• Lead or support the development of documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, presenting insights, recommendations, and potential risks to ensure informed decision-making.
• Lead or participate in quality assurance and compliance audits as required.
  
  

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant field, e.g., Business, IT, Engineering, Healthcare, etc.
• 8 years of experience in Data Governance, including 2 years in a senior or advisory role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma, etc.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global or distributed environment.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance within the specific domain.
