We are seeking a Medicaid IT Procurement Specialist who will support our client in developing a Medicaid System Development and Integration RFP. This role involves assessing existing RFPs, drafting procurement documents, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT procurement, RFP development, and healthcare systems.

We are seeking a Medicaid IT Procurement Specialist who will support our client in developing a Medicaid System Development and Integration RFP. This role involves assessing existing RFPs, drafting procurement documents, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT procurement, RFP development, and healthcare systems.
Duties
- Assess relevant RFPs from other states.
- Document the scope of services for the RFP.
- Facilitate collection and revision of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Draft the RFP using State-approved template and support revisions.
- Support planning and development of materials to facilitate workshops to review and validate RFP content.
- Assist in gathering and organizing supporting documentation for the RFP, including attachments and exhibits for the bidder's library.
- Writing, editing, and presenting information in a clear and simple manner in an agreed upon format, making sure the information is organized effectively.
- Facilitate the collection of, and revision to, functional and non-functional requirements to document the scope of services in the RFP.
- Assist with the development of the RFP Technical Evaluation Criteria and Tool Options.
- Develop cost estimate ranges based on the scope and assessment of similar procurements.
- 5 years’ experience with large-scale projects, program, or organizational Initiative.
- Associate or bachelor's degree.
- 3 years of general IT system experience and formal training or education.
- 2 years’ experience with healthcare systems.
- Certifications and experience with process improvement techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, and Kanban), Project Management, Business Analysis, ITIL or similar.
- Master’s Degree.
