Overview: 

We are seeking a Performance Tester who will support our client in the development of a modern Case Management System (CMS) that is user-friendly to perform, manage, and integrate daily workflow processes and data systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating the performance of a modern Appian-based Case Management System (CMS) to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability. This initiative will replace our client’s outdated system with a secure, automated, and integrated SaaS solution that improves workflow management and data integration.

Duties

• Develop and execute performance testing strategies to validate the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of the Appian-based CMS.
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing to assess system behavior under various conditions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Utilize performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad) to measure and report system performance metrics.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to define performance requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration of the CMS with other software and databases without degradation in performance.
• Document test cases, procedures, and results in alignment with best practices.
• Support security testing efforts by assessing system vulnerabilities in conjunction with performance evaluations.
  
  

Mandatory Skills/ Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in performance testing with a focus on cloud-based SaaS solutions.
• Experience with Appian-based applications and understanding of its performance testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing and SaaS environments.
• Experience with SQL and database performance tuning.
• Knowledge of API performance testing and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance test results.
• Experience with Appian low-code development environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  
  

Desirable Qualifications

• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and data encryption standards.
• Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or Splunk.
