Lead Electrical Design Engineer (Retail Space)
The Lead Electrical Design Engineer will oversee the creation of standards for retail projects, coordinating with client management and engineering teams to track progress. This role includes providing electrical/controls design for product improvements, ensuring designs align with UL, NEC, and other industry standards. The engineer will also manage site-wide drawings and ensure project adherence to engineering, manufacturing, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop standards for retail space projects.
- Coordinate with teams to discuss project progress.
- Oversee others' work and provide electrical/controls design for product improvements.
- Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and functionality standards like UL and NEC.
Essential Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8 years of experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent.
- Knowledge of UL, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards.
- Ability to interpret various technical drawings and documents.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
