Job Overview
We are a new store that’s opening in the Wisconsin Rapids Area, We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining stock levels throughout the store. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and your attention to detail will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Stock shelves, ensuring products are organized and displayed attractively.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and inventory tracking.
• Handle produce items with care, ensuring freshness and quality standards are met.
• Use RF scanners for inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area and stockroom.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance store performance.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Proficiency in retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Experience operating a forklift is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with RF scanners for efficient stock management is advantageous.
• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred.
• skills are a nice-to-have, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.86 - $13.52 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
