Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Compliance Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies. The Compliance Auditor will conduct thorough audits, assess compliance with relevant regulations, and provide recommendations for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare compliance, coding systems, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of medical records and coding practices to ensure compliance with ICD-10, ICD-9, Medicare, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and JCAHO standards.
- Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports outlining compliance issues and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement compliance strategies and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and compliance requirements to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related topics and best practices.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures that promote compliance within the organization.
Experience
- Proven experience in compliance auditing within the healthcare sector is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coding systems including ICD-10 and ICD-9.
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines, HIPAA regulations, FDA regulations, and JCAHO standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills for effectively presenting audit findings to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all work.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $23.46 - $25.00 per hour
