Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC machines, milling machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD designs to set up machines accurately.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production processes.
- Work with tooling and fixtures to ensure precision in machining operations.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the factory.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks.
- Knowledge of tooling, welding techniques, and machining processes is a plus.
- Experience with logic controllers is beneficial for troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a factory setting.
