Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Duties
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and PeopleSoft to manage financial transactions
- Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Conduct double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile discrepancies in financial reports
- Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the company's financial status
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards is a plus
- Assist in forecasting financial trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and PeopleSoft
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
