Job Overview
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. This role requires precision and attention to detail in manufacturing components.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of parts produced
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers
- Knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including Fanuc controls
- Familiarity with basic math and logic controllers
- Mounts workpiece between centers, in chuck, or in fixtures. Depresses buttons, and starts machining operation on one or more machine tools.
- Required to have the machine, floor and work area clean at the start of the coming shift.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $23.18 - $24.50 per hour
