Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and appearance of the facilities. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance and repair to keep the facilities in optimal condition.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to identify and address maintenance issues
- Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing plumbing, and fixing minor electrical issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Assist with the setup and takedown of equipment for events or meetings
- Collaborate with external contractors when necessary for specialized repairs
Skills
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems for climate control maintenance
- Experience with industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to weld for minor repairs and fabrication needs
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols
- Work environment may range in temperatures from 90 to 0 F
- Technical sales knowledge for equipment procurement and vendor management
- Competency in using ohmmeters and ammeters for electrical diagnostics
- Maintain accurate repair records through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, perform repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures
- Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools, forklifts and pallet jacks and diagnostic equipment.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $24.50 - $26.50 per hour
