Responsibilities
- Coordinate inventory control activities to maintain accurate stock levels
- Monitor inventory movements and conduct regular audits to reconcile discrepancies
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and generate reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory needs
- Implement best practices for materials handling, storage, and distribution
- Analyze data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and investigate any discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in handling materials
Skills
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret inventory data and trends
- Knowledge of materials management principles and practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate material handling equipment
- Experience with financial analysis related to inventory management is a plus
