Responsibilities
- Implement process improvements to optimize inventory control procedures
- Purchase necessary items to maintain adequate stock levels
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory movements
- Manage materials effectively to prevent shortages or excesses
- Conduct data mining and analysis to forecast inventory needs
- Collaborate with the supply chain team for sourcing and procurement activities
- Assist in financial modeling related to inventory management
- Operate forklifts for material handling when required
Experience
- Proven experience in inventory management and control
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to source materials efficiently
- Experience in financial modeling is a plus
