Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Operate power tools and forklifts safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the CMMS.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and support production goals.
- Assist in the installation and repair of programmable logic controllers and hydraulic systems.
- Frequently standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs.
- Mechanical/Electrical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a repetitive basis.
- Ability to read and understand prints.
- Basic working knowledge of PLC's.
- Basic ability to weld/machine/fabricate.
- Ability to use basic shop and power tools.
- Ability to work in noisy environments.
- Understanding of PM's (Preventative Maintenance) and ability to follow instructions.
- Experience in starting/stopping production machinery.
- Ability to adjust production machinery.
- Accurate document process forms, equipment downtime, and work orders.
- Previous forklift or powered equipment experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing plant is preferred.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $34.50 - $36.00 per hour
