Storeroom Attendant

Job Overview

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas of the hotel to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for guests.

Duties

• Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean windows
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of debris
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when needed
• Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift / cherry picker experience preferred.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
• Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift / cherry picker experience preferred.
• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and/or equipment; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Assists with inventory level maintenance; performs cycle counts and prepares report results.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
