Position Title: Cyber Security Developer
Duration: 3 Months Contract To Hire
Client Location: Oakland, CA
Job Summary:
- Analyze, design, and implement complex solutions to meet business needs.
- Translate business needs into workable technology solutions that meet the needs of internal customers.
- Collaborate with team, project team and leaders to work on issues, projects and activities.
- Develop and maintain custom workflows, rules, and connectors within PG&E s IGA system.
- Work with vendor support on bug fixes and support issues.
- Perform IAM pre- and post-production support activities.
- Conduct system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in IGA projects involving IGA
- Conduct troubleshooting and coding utilizing best practices.
- Identify functional and operational opportunities for improved security and performance enhancements and develop continuous improvement plans.
- Create and maintain internal procedures
- Share knowledge and guidance with team members.
- Support compliance requirements.
- Evaluate, plan and design for PG&E s IGA solution maintenance including on-prem to cloud transition as required
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- 8 years Experience in IT-Information Technology security, multi-platform, development experience IGA systems (preferably SailPoint IIQ or SailPoint ISC) including integrations with SAP, Active Directory, OUD, Entra AD, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SCIM/Webservice, and cloud access management (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) based connection platforms or related.
Desired:
- 7 years of experience in the identity and access management (IAM) security domain including user life cycle management, provisioning, application onboarding, custom connectors, access reviews, role-based access control, separation of duties, and certifications
- Apache Tomcat experience
- Code development with Java, Bean shell, scripting (PowerShell), REST APIs, and relational databases
- Experience with compliance requirements and reporting, preferably in a PowerBI environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner, manage complex projects and stay up to date with the latest industry developments and best practices and apply the knowledge in the workplace.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and information effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Utility industry experience
- SailPoint Identity Now /Identity AI
- SOX, Privacy and/or NERC CIP regulations
- CISSP-Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar security certification
- SailPoint certification
- Experience with risk management/controls, vulnerability management, and business continuity/disaster recovery
