Murphy's Cafe 126 in Salt Lake City, UT is looking for one catering manager to join our team. We are located on 23 North 900 West Unit 23. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the food and beverage services for events and functions.
• Menu planning: Create menus that meet the client's preferences, budget, and event setting 
• Staff management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including chefs, kitchen assistants, and servers 
• Budgeting: Prepare budgets, manage finances, and monitor spending 
• Inventory management: Maintain stock levels and order new supplies 
• Health and safety: Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations 
• Customer service: Interact with clients and provide customer service 
• Contract negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and clients 
• Event preparation: Visit event sites to assess kitchen facilities and make plans 
• Event execution: Oversee food and beverage provisions at events, and ensure all function set-ups are correct

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
