Apprentice/Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operational needs of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. As a Laborer/Apprentice, you will contribute to a collaborative environment while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. You will work with a trained installer and will learn the trade of interior remodeling, with the goal that you will become a trained installer. $16/hr to start during a 6 month Probationary period, after that 18$/hr, with annual reviews.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential.
