Position : AWS Engineer
Location : Remote
Term : W2 / Full Time only
Job Description : Responsibilities :
- Work with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of AWS projects, including migration, containerization and transformation
- Write infrastructure as code
- Perform AWS environment troubleshooting and setup
- Meet customer SLAs and managing communication in case of issues
- Configure and maintain backup, monitoring and alerting systems for multiple clients
- Interact with teams and customers to ensure 24 / 7 support
- Administrate automated deployments and scripting using Bash, PowerShell and / or Python
- Participate in work sessions with clients
- Complete technical documentation
- Deliver quality work in agile team environment
- Education :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Required Skills and Experience
- 5 years' experience in cloud computing
- Experience managing common AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in basic administration of MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB and / or ElasticSearch
- Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.)
- Knowledgeable about networking and security
- Knowledgeable about configuration management frameworks such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Comfortable interacting with customers and clients
- Effective communication skill
