Snowflake ETL Lead
Contract: 6 months
Location: Frisco, TX - 3 days onsite/ 2 days remote
Rate: $70-$75 per hour
We are seeking a Snowflake ETL Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data integration, management, and transformation, ensuring high-quality data delivery to support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the ETL development team in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines in Snowflake.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define data integration strategies.
Implement best practices for ETL processes, ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance.
Optimize existing ETL processes and troubleshoot data issues as they arise.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Snowflake and ETL technologies.
Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 years of experience in ETL development, with a focus on Snowflake.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Apache Nifi).
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Python or other programming languages for data processing.
Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and data science methodologies.
