Position Overview and Deliverables: We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Project Manager with a strong background in Wealth Management (Financial Services / Banking domain) to lead and drive strategic initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of wealth management processes and have extensive experience managing large-scale, complex programs. Banking domain experience is highly preferred, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results within a fast-paced environment is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and execute large-scale programs within the wealth management space, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of programs, from initiation to execution and closure, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define program strategies, roadmaps, and KPIs and ensure the successful execution of these plans.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts, to drive program success.
- Identify and mitigate risks, roadblocks, and issues throughout the program lifecycle, proactively developing solutions to ensure continued progress.
- Ensure that all stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, are regularly updated on program progress and outcomes.
- Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation, ensuring that all aspects of the program are adequately funded and resourced.
- Conduct regular reviews of program performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet evolving business priorities.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and maintaining strong relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in program management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in program management, with a strong emphasis on wealth management and banking domains.
- Proven experience managing complex programs with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of wealth management systems, financial products, and services, with expertise in the banking domain being highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and implement efficient processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and a deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities for program improvement and optimization.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives within the banking or wealth management industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in wealth management and banking.
