Position Overview and Responsibilities
Senior Cloud Solutions Architect reports to the Senior Director of Technology and works closely with Project Managers to provide technical leadership and guide the strategic design and implementation of advanced cloud solutions. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, strategic planning, and leadership skills to drive the successful delivery of cloud initiatives. This position will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor technical teams, and champion innovation to align cloud strategies with business goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Design and develop scalable, secure, scalable, high-performance, and cost-efficient cloud architectures for enterprise applications.
- Define architectural blueprints and provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Stay abreast of and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and integrate them to enhance operational efficiency to meet project requirements.
- Deploy planned networks, testing to ensure proper implementation, and ensure comprehensive IT documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud security and governance.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering technical growth and collaboration to drive organizational efficiency.
- Other duties assigned within the scope of business.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Extensive experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, including leadership or team management roles.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex cloud projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of design patterns, architecture principles, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
