Job Summary :
We are seeking a Network Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Switching & Routing Cisco and Wireless Networking. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a day shift without the need for travel.
Manage and maintain both wired and wireless networking systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot advanced switching and routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VXLAN, GRE, and IPSEC.
Work with network switching technologies, including implementing effective network segmentation strategies.
Support and deploy Versa SDWAN solutions to optimize network performance and scalability.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrading of device hardware and software to meet organizational requirements.
Identify and address potential vulnerabilities in the network, ensuring robust security and compliance.
Leverage knowledge of Cisco DNA Center to enhance network automation, management, and monitoring.
Apply coding and scripting skills (Python, Ansible, Bash) to automate network tasks and improve efficiency in operations.
Qualifications :
Strong background in Aruba Edgeconnect SDWAN with hands-on experience.
Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis tasks.
Extensive experience with Switching & Routing Cisco and Switching & Routing Aruba.
Expertise in Wireless Networking - Aruba to manage and secure wireless networks.
Ability to devise, plan, deploy, and improve wireless networks from inception to implementation by collaborating with vendors, managers, and network engineers.
Proficiency in using tools to evaluate, test, and tweak wireless products, such as routers, switches, hubs, bridges, and wireless controllers.
Understanding of client requirements to cater to their needs appropriately.
Ability to design and validate the performance, quality, and reliability of the RF link.
Experience in designing and implementing WLANs and lifecycle management of wireless networks (code upgrades, break fixes during implementation).
Ability to write manuals and document current network procedures.
Extensive knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VXLAN, GRE, IPSEC), switching, network segmentation, SD WAN, and enterprise-level PSIRT deployment.
Proficiency in using enterprise monitoring tools (Cisco DNA, Clearpass, Observe, ServiceNow).
Good knowledge of the change management process.
Minimum of five years of experience in designing / implementing WAN / LAN environments.
Adept with wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, and WAP.
Understanding of a scripting language such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
