SAP Data Steward FI

Qualifications / Requirements:

4 years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company or similar industry, general understanding of data governance concepts and processes

Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship.

Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented.

Strong Knowledge in FICO/Account to Reporting along with hands-on experience in SAP S4 HANA.

Knowledge in S4 HANA Finance New GL, Parallel ledgers, Document Splitting, GL Master new features

Knowledge in Data Tools like AXON, EDC, GDQ and ability to work with these tools as per the client's requirements.

Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules.

Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel

Experience researching, validating, profiling and cataloging datasets

Ability to own sub-tasks of a project with little supervision.

Competencies:

Strong knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes.

Strong data management background with understanding of how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship

Functional and Domain Knowledge Internal and External Data Assets

o GL, Profit Center, Cost Center, Asset Masters and Transactional data level experience

o Experience in ERP Systems SAP ECC & S/4HANA required.

Ability to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements.

Analytical mindset with Strong Communication Skills/Able to Persuade/Influence Others at all Organization Levels and the ability foster lasting partnerships.

Matrix management skills and business acumen
