THE ROLE
Job Summary
The Concierge is dedicated to accommodating guest requests, from the ordinary to the extraordinary. As an integral part of the Guest Services team, the Concierge plans and coordinates vacation experiences by tailoring activity recommendations for each guest’s perfect stay.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to anticipate guest needs, make recommendations, and provide guests with engaging service that exceeds expectations
- Thorough knowledge of property management system
- Ability to use several different software systems for communication, tracking, and reporting
- Entering activity reservations with a close attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to understand posted charges and payments and effectively communicate that information to guests with billing inquiries
- Accurately transfer calls and effectively communicate messages internally
- Thorough knowledge of all events and activities available at the resort
- Responding professionally to guest inquiries through email
- Ability to identify service recovery situations and assist with solutions
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of the area and surrounding activities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to accurately and efficiently report information
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to sit for up to eight hours a day indoors or outdoors
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Some sales experience preferred
- No visible piercings or tattoos; clean shaven
- Flexibility to work mornings and evenings, weekdays and weekends, and holidays
- Customer service experience. Experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
