Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy:
- Define and refine the vision for TuxCare's Extended Lifecycle Support products
- Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies tailored to different market segments and industries
- Continuously assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to guide product evolution
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to create and launch new product lines
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through development, launch, and post-launch support
- Evangelism & Advocacy:
- Serve as the public face of TuxCare's Extended Lifecycle Support products in the open-source community
- Promote the adoption of our products through thought leadership, content creation, webinars, and participation in industry events and conferences
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and open-source contributors
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their pain points, using these insights to influence product enhancements
- Analyze market data and user feedback to identify growth opportunities and areas for product improvement
- Experience:
- 5 years of product management experience, preferably in the open-source and security domain
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling technical products in the enterprise market
- Strong understanding of Linux distributions, open-source software, and security practices
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a focus on driving results and fostering collaboration
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and customer feedback to inform product decisions
- Fluent English speaker
