CloudQuery is a developer-first cloud governance platform that consists of three main components that can be used together or stand alone; Data Pipelines, Cloud Asset Inventory and CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management). We're a Series-B Startup who are powering data movement for SREs, platform, and security teams in Fortune 100.
We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for our cloud governance platform. You will collaborate with customers, engineering, and product teams to ensure a smooth user experience.
Requirements
3 years in technical support, system administration, or cloud operations .
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .
Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization .
Proficiency in monitoring tools and automation scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) .
Experience with SQL and data querying for troubleshooting cloud asset inventory.
Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and log analysis tools .
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Responsibilities :
Provide first level technical support via email, chat, video calls and Slack channels
Ensure compliance with support SLAs , prioritizing and resolving issues within agreed response times.
Maintain and improve the support platform , including ticketing systems, automation, and documentation to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Troubleshoot cloud governance, security, and compliance issues (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Collaborate with engineering and escalate complex issues and document resolutions.
Work closely with the sales and customer success to support POCs and customer requirements
Assist in testing new releases and maintaining knowledge base articles.
Stay updated on cloud technologies and best practices .
Preferred Qualifications :
Cloud certifications ( AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud ).
Experience with ITSM tools, Terraform, Kubernetes, or DevOps .
Familiarity with CI / CD, Git, and API troubleshooting .
Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards .
