Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team
- Supervise nursing staff in various settings such as assisted living, acute care, nursing homes, and home care
- Utilize strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to guide nursing practices
- Manage nursing systems to optimize efficiency and patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and company policies
Skills
- Proven experience in nursing leadership roles, including supervising and mentoring staff
- In-depth understanding of nursing practices across different healthcare settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and care planning
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
