Job Title- Plant ManagerLocation- Lake Charles, LAJob Type- Full Time
The company is seeking a candidate who enjoys spending up to 50% of their time on projects and 50% of their time leading operations. You will spend up to half of your time on the manufacturing floor. Candidates should be able to take ownership of the plant, lead by example, be comfortable being hands-on as needed, coach and mentor their staff and infuse energy and excitement into the daily operations of the facility. The qualified individual will be passionate about developing and leading teams, establishing consistent processes and improving manufacturing processes. REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in engineering
- At least 3-5 years of similar manufacturing operations management or engineering management experience
- Experience working in blending or processing environments, including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemicals, coatings, etc.
- Experience supervising production and/or engineering
- Experience assisting with and/or managing capital equipment projects
- Experience working in a non-union environment
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
