Job Title – Psychologist (School Based )
Location – Marysville, Washington
Contract – 12 months
Shift: Day
Pay rate - $55/hr. to $58/hr.
Start – ASAP

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' mental health and well-being within an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with various challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement intervention strategies
• Develop and implement behavior management plans
• Administer and interpret psychological tests for diagnostic purposes
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support students with special needs
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary

Skills

• Proficiency in child and family counseling techniques
• Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
• Experience in psychological testing and diagnostic evaluation
• Strong crisis management skills
• Compassionate patient care approach
• Understanding of school psychology practices
• Background in social work or related field
• Familiarity with mental health interventions
