Pay Rate: $40-43/hr. (on 1099)
Shift: 7 am - 7 pm
Guaranteed Hours: 36

General Requirements:
- Experience - 1 yr. experience
- Candidates must reside within 60-70 miles from the the facility
- Active LPN NC License required
- BLS/CPR Certification is required
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is preferred
Job Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to patients. Your expertise and compassionate care will contribute significantly to the well-being of individuals in need.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with medical procedures such as suture removal and phlebotomy
- Provide care for patients with various medical needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, and in pain management
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to deliver effective patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in settings such as urgent care, ER, or pain management clinics
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Proficiency in performing medical procedures like phlebotomy and suture removal
- Knowledge of urgent care practices and pain management techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with dementia care protocols is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology
