We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team working with large project teams to deliver various construction projects. This is a full-time permanent position based in the Perth, CBD, however the successful candidate will have the flexibility to travel to site as required to provide cover for team members on site rosters FIFO on 2:1, 20:8 etc.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager – Western Region, this position offers responsibility for the full HR lifecycle in support of our corporate functions, including providing employee and industrial relations advice and collaborating with the national HR team with a direct engagement with our project HR teams.
In this busy and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, corporate teams, and clients, to meet deadlines and deliver optimal outcomes.

Your focus will include:
Works with HRM and managers to develop and deliver HR solutions in response to business needs
Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, proactively seeking answers, driving approvals, and ensuring timely resolution of actions.
Provide advice and assistance to various stakeholders and employees on various human resource policies and procedural matters
Lead complex ER case management, including disciplinary processes, documentation preparation, and support in building strong, positive workplace practices
Drafting various HR correspondence eg; contracts, policies, change of conditions, organisational charts
Provide and assists to develop reports and data analysis across a range of HR metrics
Implement all HR initiatives and calendar events and provide ongoing guidance and support to stakeholders
What you will bring to the team:
Must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Business Partner role coupled with previous experience on site in a construction / engineering or mining environment
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or relevant field desirable
Solid experience in Employee relations, performance management, case management and complex workplace investigations including behavioural cases and interpersonal conflicts
Previous experience in tendering, including drafting client responses, addressing inquiries about the company's capabilities and capacity, and developing case studies based on past projects.
Proven ability to take ownership of outcomes, demonstrating responsibility for both individual and team results, and effectively managing successes and challenges.
Ability to travel to site on business trips and cover team members on FIFO arrangements, if/when required.
High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and develop solutions to meet business needs
