We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planning Manager to join the Project Team in Perth! In this role, you will with minimal supervision and as a key member of the project planning team provide technical expertise regarding planning and analysis of project schedule information to manage and maintain the Project Execution Schedule. Provide clear and concise communication of schedule deviations and impacts to the project management team to ensure early impacts to schedule are highlighted. 

Webuild is the preferred bidder for the design and construction of the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. This landmark project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families, delivering lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia.

Your focus will include:

  • Demonstrates leadership in supporting the incident injury free work environment with visible compliance and participation.

  • Drive integrated project controls model through intelligent coding between Primavera, Envision and Prism and educating the planners in their role with Envision on Quantities/Progress/Forecast Dates and Prism & Power BI on SCurves and Progress Reporting.

  • Dependent on the project size, able to supervise or support the project set-up phase

  • define the WBS/ABS

  • work with cost to align the budgeted unit hrs / quantities from the estimate at cost plus

  • set-up tracking & monitoring metrics to control,

  • analyse and report project status, man-hours & progress;

  • ensure alignment to clough contractual, reporting and control requirements

  • Dependent on the project size and scope execution, able to manage schedule across all facets of engineering, procurement, subcontracts, fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning and closeout.

  • Supervise and monitor schedule structure parameters for submissions by ensuring conformance with both Client and Clough internal guidelines.

What you will bring to the team:

  • 10 years’ multi discipline project planning experience, with over 5 years’ senior experience 

  • A degree or qualification in Engineering or Construction Management preferred but not essential

  • Experience within project execution environment with multi discipline exposure

  • Experience Infrastructure, Marine preferred

  • Advanced User of Primavera P6 and Advanced skills in the MS office suite of applications and data management

  • Understands how to apply physical progress and earned value measurement
