Returns Warehouse Receiving Associate
Position Summary:
The Receiving Associate is responsible for checking in, organizing and maintaining all material received and holding in inventory. Previous forklift experience is required.
Essential Functions:
- Receive and check in any shipments (freight and package) entering into Clover receiving doors and verifying that all items received are the same as the associated invoices indicate.
- Refuse to accept any damaged product and return that product to the sender as indicated by the Receiving Managers instructions.
- Place all shipments that have been checked in the appropriate place such as various personnel, inventory bins, or staging areas for further work.
- Ensure drivers follow sign in process
- Assure that all trucks are properly chocked prior to unloading.
- Unloading and loading all trucks as needed.
- Keeping work area neat and clean at all times.
- Adheres to all Company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience on a forklift is required.
- Knowledge of Fed-Ex and UPS shipping.
- Requires strong organizational skills and particular attention to detail.
- Requires the ability to effectively build rapport with coworkers and both internal and external customers.
- Requires a positive attitude and the ability to function both independently and in a team setting.
- Must possess basic mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to operate basic power and hand tools.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
- Must be computer literate.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
· Able to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to fifty pounds, unassisted.
· Stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift (up to 100% of the time).
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Location: Ottawa, IL
Work hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: Hire rate is $16.50 per hour

Hire Rate $16.50
1 Year $17.00
1.5 Yrs $17.50
2 Yrs $18.00
2.5 Yrs. $18.50
3 Yrs. $19.00
