Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Facilitate engaging activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
- Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or requiring additional support.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Experience in caregiving or nannying is beneficial.
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum and infant care practices is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
