What are the responsibilities and job description for the USACE Quality Control Manager position at Clover Leaf?
Clover Leaf is seeking a Quality Control Manager for the Small Arms Storage Building project at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB). This project involves the design and construction of a 5,000 square-foot pre-engineered metal building, including a single cantilever sliding gate, asphalt-paved driveway, grading and erosion control, dry utilities, an access road, temporary free zone construction fencing, and related incidental work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Control (QC) plan tailored to the projects specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with contract requirements and USACE standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of QC activities, including daily reports and test results.
- Facilitate preparatory meetings and initial inspections as part of the three-phase control system.
- Ensure all construction materials and workmanship meet the established quality criteria.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of construction quality control experience on USACE projects.
- Completion of the USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors course.
- Strong understanding of USACE construction quality management policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project teams.
